I've only owned it for 4 months as of this writing, so I can't speak as to its durability, but I can say that it's showing no indicators that it won't last. Of course as others have said, don't leave this (or any other patio umbrella) opened. As soon as you do, the wind gods will let out a breathy laugh, and you'll be looking for a new one.The tilt feature works great, and is a real boon during evenings when the sun would normally be shining directly into someone's eyes.One word of advice: Pay attention to the NAME of the color. Many monitors will show a color that isn't indicative, either because the image itself is bad, or the monitor is not properly adjusted. I ordered champagne (on purpose), however I was worried about the color because the amazon image looks gray on my screen. The umbrella arrived the expected color, but I might have ordered this same one if I was looking for gray and didn't notice the color in the description.Easy to install and use as a pop atio table umbrella.We love this umbrella. I am very pleased with its ease of use, appearance and function. However, I think the umbrella fabric is thinner than the replacement ones I've bought at Formosa.com. You can see the sun through it, so the weave is a bit less dense. I purchased a dark sapphire blue. It arrived in perfect shape and was well packed.Beautiful big sun umbrella in vibrant blue. Easy to open & close. Seems to be of great quality!Beautiful umbrella but unfortunately there is a hole in the seam and the bar poked right through. Disappointed because I thought the quality would be better given the price.
